James returns to the Singapore Swimming Club after more than two decades, having first joined in the late 1990s and contributed to key redevelopment projects that shaped many of the facilities Members enjoy today.

In the years since, James has built a distinguished career across strategic leadership, finance, operations, corporate governance, and procurement, serving with leading hospitality brands including Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, Sofitel Singapore City Centre, The South Beach Singapore, and JW Marriott Chongqing, among others.

James is a respected industry leader, educator and civic contributor. He has held senior leadership roles across professional and industry bodies, served as a lecturer, and contributed actively to the community as a mediator.

James was born and educated in Singapore, and has furthered his executive education at Tsinghua University and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. He is fluent in English and Mandarin, enabling him to connect effectively with the Club’s diverse membership.

The Club is delighted to welcome James back to the Singapore Swimming Club. With a wealth of global experience and a deep understanding of both hospitality and the Club’s heritage, he brings a unique perspective that will add significant value. His leadership is expected to enhance the member experience while inspiring and strengthening the team, positioning the Club for its next phase of growth and excellence.
