School Holiday Coding Camp For Ages 5-7 years old
Course Overview
- Have some fun learning to code by creating a Platformer Game. Some famous platformer games are Super Mario, Sonic The Hedgehog and many others. At the end of the workshop, students will learn the art of game design and create a simple yet interactive game using their creativity and imagination.
- Students will be using Tynker, an educational programming platform aimed at teaching children how to make games and programs, to create a platform game.
- Students will learn about game design and theory of a platformer game and customise their own game by brainstorming on their background, background music and characters they would like to use based on their preferred theme.

School Holiday Coding Camp For Ages 8-10 years old
Course Overview
- Starts with a light-hearted introduction to Tynker and the Pinball Machine game by designing their Pinball Machine with their favorited background and characters. They will also grasp the concepts of physics, specially gravity, in order to understand how the pinball interacts with its game environment such as the flippers and obstacles.
- The concept of conditionals will be taught to students as students are required to program their pinball to interact with different objects in the game and create different visual or sound effects. The concept of variables will also be touched upon as the game requires a scoring system to make it more fun and engaging to the player.

About the Trainer:
- We are that coding school that focuses just on that. We are the first education lab in Singapore to use predictive data analytics and educational psychology to develop a customized Coding curriculum for kids aged 5 – 16. Additionally, we are the first school in Singapore whereby the curriculum is written by Prof. Oka, a Computer Science professor from SUTD and hence validates the quality and relevancy of a child's learning progression in Coding.

Sogetsu Ikebana Jr Workshop
- This specially curated 1 day workshop, is specially designed for children aged 8-12 years old who would like to pick up a new hobby or interest in Sogetsu Ikebana. In this workshop, they will learn the very basic rules and techniques for creating their own mini beautiful Ikebana arrangements.
- Instructor will keep class simple, light-hearted and interesting to develop the interest in students for Beginner Ikebana.
- All materials and tools will be provided for these fun and interactive classes. Fresh materials will be brought in by the instructor and students may bring these materials home.

About the Trainer
- Bess has been practising floral art since 2015 and is a certified teacher of Ikebana (Sogetsu-Ryu School).
- As a passionate Ikebanist, she has exhibited and given live demonstrations of her works, most recently at the Japan creative Centre and prior to that, at Ngee Ann City as part of the Singapore Garden Festival.
- Upcoming events in which Bess will Participate include the Annual Exhibition organised by Ikebana International Singapore Chapter 135 to be held at Paragon Shopping Mall from 21 to 30 May 2021, and a live demonstration (via Zoom) which will be broadcast to an international audience in August this year
