48th Singapore National Age Group Swimming Championship (Juniors)

Our junior team, comprising 51 swimmers, did exceptionally well at the 48th Singapore National Age Group Swimming Championship (Juniors) held at the OCBC Aquatic Centre on 10–12 March. Singapore Swimming Club beat 12 other foreign and local swim clubs to emerge third position, bagging a total medal tally of 17 gold, 16 silver and 19 bronze.

Our wonder girl Ashley Lim alone clinched 10 gold and broke four meet records. Ashley was also conferred the Most Valuable Swimmer (Girls) for the third year in a row.

The other gold medallists were Jabez Soh (three gold), Marcus Choo (two gold), Jeriel Inez Lee Ting (one gold) Justin Tang (one gold). Marcus also did us proud by breaking the meet record in the 50m breaststroke event.

Congratulations to all winners!
