Vehicular Entry Point at Main Entrance to be Shifted during Katong Park Station Construction
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will close the existing vehicular entry at the Club’s Main Entrance from 8 Jul (Sat) to 5 Nov 2017 (Sun) for the construction of Thomson-East Coast Line’s Katong Park Station and its associated tunnels. The existing exit will be widened for both entry and exit of vehicles during this period. Please refer to the below photo for clarification.
The existing vehicle waiting area will be henceforth removed by LTA. Members can only drop off and pick up passengers at the Main Lobby. Absolutely no waiting is allowed.
In addition, on 29 (Thu) and 30 Jun 2017 (Fri), the existing exit will be closed for LTA's preparation works. Members who drive will have to use the existing exit for both entry and exit on these two days. LTA will put up signs and assign staff to direct traffic.
We seek your kind cooperation in these matters. Thank you.
Return of Crockery and Cutlery After Meals
We have spotted stray cats and other vermin feeding on the leftover food at the Cabana and Delicatessen.
We Urge members to return all crockery and cutlery to the tray-return booth at the Delicatessen and dispose of all leftover food in the trash.
We also ask members to refrain from feeding the stray cats.
Let us work together to keep the Club a safe and hygienic place for all to enjoy. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated.
